    Uniting Passion and Profession

    The RACELOGIC Endurance Racing Journey

At RACELOGIC, we believe in going beyond the conventional boundaries of work and passion. In an initiative that started in 2022, we embarked on an exhilarating journey that transformed eight of our staff members from various departments into licensed racers. This bold step was not just about racing; it was about fostering a deep understanding of motorsport within our team and enhancing our product development through real-world racing experiences.

The journey began with our enthusiastic participants competing in the EnduroKa series, taking on endurance races in a modified Ford KA that lasted between 5 and 24 hours. This hands-on experience in the racing world enabled our team to contribute to the improvement of existing products and the testing of new innovations, directly translating their on-track experiences into tangible advancements for our customers.

The success of this initiative was evident not just on the racetrack, but also in the positive impact it had on team dynamics and camaraderie. Our drivers brought back invaluable insights and a renewed spirit of collaboration to their everyday roles, truly embodying our commitment to continuous learning and development.

Encouraged by the accomplishments of the 2022 and 2023 season, RACELOGIC is gearing up for another exciting event in 2024, with staff from our French and German offices taking part in the FFSA Tourisme TC France Championship in a Peugeot Sport 208. Company Milestones

    1992-1993

Julian Thomas founded RACELOGIC from a small office in Buckingham, UK, with the goal of supplying electronic control systems to the motorsport world.

In 1993, RACELOGIC Traction Control became the first product to roll off the production line with customers including Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce using it as one of their first ever driver aids.

    1996

The product portfolio expanded to include Switchlogic, an F1 style paddle shifter that could be installed on automatic cars to offer the option of manual gear changing. In addition to growing its product range, RACELOGIC was also growing in size with five full time members of staff now employed.

    2000

The US Government switched off the deliberate scrambling of the GPS signal in 2000, increasing its accuracy from 100 m to 3 m overnight.

With many automotive manufacturers still using fifth wheels and expensive optical systems, RACELOGIC uses the effectiveness and flexibility offered by GPS technology to launch the first VBOX.

    2006

A new RACELOGIC office is opened in Weilburg, Germany, headed by International Sales Manager Leander Speth.

Applying their experience in high-end GPS technology to the racing and consumer markets, the DriftBox and PerformanceBox are released.
